Marie and Carlos is one of the nicest couple I ever worked with. It is truly an honor to have been a part of their special day, and to have shared the laughter and tears as their emotional journey unfolded. This day also marked the first time Tom and I worked together as a team. I can’t tell you how many times Byron and I have watched this video footage. We are thrilled with our cooperative effort and looking forward to capturing more touching stories.

Anya's Performance at Old Mills Inn

Here’s a live performance footage of Anya and Terence at the Winter Palace Ball - Dancing With The Tsars. Anya and Terence are Ontario and National Ballroom Dance Champions respectively. Winter Palace Ball is a Russian fund raising event for underprivileged children. Mr. Michael Ignatieff, leader of the Liberal Party gave his keynote address to Jump Start the night. Well....I didn’t know he is a Russian :). Black Tie, Champagne, Exquisite Dinner for the good cause. Cheers!

My Gear

Here is my new gear that I will be using on all upcomping productions.

This is my first attempt into the wonderful world of ballroom dancing. I am very happy with the end result considering these two dance sequences were shot very late at night without much preparation, and with just a single camera. Anya is beautiful and gifted in ballroom dancing. I can't wait to capture her wedding with Payam in July 2009. Now sit back and enjoy Anya and her dance partner David's excellent performance.

What a beautiful wedding it turned out to be. Heitzman house in Thornhill may not be the right choice for a big lavish wedding just because of its size but it is definitely an excellent choice for holding a small cozy one. This historical venue has a lot of character inside and outside the building. I could tell May and Eddy put a lot of time and heart into planning this day to make it a memorable occasion for everyone attended. Although it started to rain right after the ceremony, Byron and I braved the weather and took some very unique and beautiful shots. Dinner was great and the night reception was a blast. Hope you enjoy this highlight reel!

Its fascinating to have the opportunity to experience the different cultural weddings. Persian wedding is one of the most interesting one. Byron and I had to do some online research to get ourselves familiar with the Persian wedding customs and traditions. Fortunately their ceremony had been westernized quite a bit compared to a full traditional one so it was less confusing for us :). Mona, Damon and the wedding party all looked great that day. Although I only met Mona & Damon that day, I can feel the love they had for each other. They truly are made for each other. I look forward to their friend Anya and Payam's wedding coming up next summer.

This was my first ever Serbian wedding and what a great experience!! Vanja and Dejan are great looking and very nice people. Despite it rained quite a bit that day, it didn't bothered them a bit. Now I know dancing is a big part of a Serbian wedding. They can dance all night long. Byron and I left around 11pm that night and almost everyone were still on the dance floor. Mind you the ladies had been dancing on high heels for more than 2 hours. I am really impressed!!
